"Attending the Unmothered Day event was incredibly impactful for me. I felt so connected to the others, to myself, to my ancestors. I took so much from this event and resonated with so many of the truths shared.
Therapy is beneficial and helpful, but sometimes all you need is to cry with other women. Sometimes healing is as simple as breathing, words written on a page, or touching every inch of your body to bring yourself back and calm the nervous system.
This event was so powerful that it made me realize why they called women witches and burned us. That level of power, the ability to forge it organically in community, is frightening to those who look to oppress."
